Chaz grew up in Tucson and graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in History and Political Science with an emphasis on Education. Prior to joining the team at Peoples, Chaz worked as a classroom teacher, human resources coordinator and spent 10 years in the insurance industry.
As a former classroom teacher, Chaz has a passion for education which now extends to his borrowers on what programs are available and how to make the best financial decision on what will most likely be their largest financial purchase. Chaz has a goal of keeping the borrower informed on what is needed to make the purchase a smooth transaction. He prides himself on being accessible to his borrowers and agents for their questions and concerns.
Chaz is active in whatever activities his kids are participating in and sits on the PTSA board of their school. He is also the den leader for his son’s Cub Scout Troop. He has been an active volunteer with Junior Achievement of Southern Arizona and also supports Flags for the Flagless. In his time away from the office, Chaz loves spending time with his wife and two kids. During the Fall he can be found tailgating before all U of A home football games. Chaz also enjoys outdoor activities like jogging, golf and spending time in the pool.
